This incredible example of one of the earliest Rolls-Royce Corniches, has been through an exhaustive restoration that has seen its return to its original colour and splendour.
The car was far from perfect when it first came to the Ranmore offices – it wasn't even the right colour.
Needless to say, the strip down revealed a bit of a horror show that all needed to be replaced.
Every piece of rot was located, removed and replaced with fresh metal.
Once stripped and filled, the rolling shell was prepared for the paint shop.
Once back from the paint shop, the Corniche was returned to its original colour and simply resplendent in its new guise.
Attention was now turned to the running gear. The entire engine and drive-train and suspension was removed from the car and meticulously stripped, refurbished and reassembled.
After a complete rebuild and refurbishment, the drive-train looks and runs like new.
The fitting of an entirely new handmade interior and roof to finish off what is simply a breathtaking car to both look at and to drive.
Simply stunning. Probably better than new inside and out.
